Boating on Lake Powell

We decided to stay an extra day at the Lake Powell campground. We chartered a pontoon boat for a half day and cruised around the lake. It was SO much fun. We went into canyon alcoves and swam in the cool water (some parts as deep as 600 feet!). We took photos of the huge cliffs and the enormous dam that created the lake. We sped across the water to keep us cool in the 102 degree desert heat.






The whole family had a blast, and it was definitely a trip highlight. :) Connie
